It is simply hilarious the way the man is so focused on looks- he is such a narcissist! It is amazing how Anne turned out so different a personality from him. Although she takes after her mother, it must be near impossible to escape some of the "contagion". Elizabeth and Mary certainly have been influenced by his extreme vanity about looks and rank.
