This brings back memories of my first read of Persuasion...   Written by jeffrey (10/17/2011 11:58 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Getting out and about, penned by Rae
Are you new?

As was the case with the rest of my initial reads of all of JA's works, I just roared through Persuasion at a reckless pace simply because I was so impatient to see who sweet deserving Anne would actually end up with.

By chapter 15 of the first read, Miss Austen had twisted my anticipatory little mind up like a pretzel to the point that I had no idea of the outcome.

This is my fourth read-through and, thanks to the group-read, I'm enjoying the nuances and details SO MUCH it is like a first-read all over again!

Isn't that what a great author is supposed to do, Over-and-over?
