Putting his foot down.   Written by Amytat (10/16/2011 2:05 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, [Mary] soon grew so determined, penned by Stephanie
Are you new?

What annoys me all the more is that Charles seems capable enough of putting his foot down when he wants to go to dinner and meet CW (“Mary knew, from Charles's manner of speaking, that he was quite determined on going…”) but not when his sister’s life is at stake.

They both seem very childish to me at this point, unable to put aside their own concerns for the good of someone else.
