Morrison version published by Belknap/Harvard   Written by Jean B (10/15/2011 6:12 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, a prejudice and mistake arising, penned by Stephanie
Are you new?

this week at the New England Booksellers convention where I've been the last couple of days. I spent any free time I had looking it over, (and to be truthful droolong on it) and I saw a few "issues" of interpertation. The biggest one for our curent chapters is that they say the JA's using the phrase "fat sighings" MUST be a mistake due to JA not doing the final proofing. She would never say such a thing. But she refers the the size of the MUsgraves on other occasions:

Mary complaining about the space they take up in the coach in chapter 5, a reference which in my opinion is much more pointed and cruel then "fat sighings."

And did they never read her letters?

Just an example.
