Are you new?

I dont think that Austen woudl see Anne's behavour, in being willing to take a back seat as a FAULT. She makes herself quietly useful. She tires to find as much pleasure and satisfaction as she can in her restricted life and does not get upset that her father and Eliz are so chilly ot her, or that Mary is only a few degrees better. She makes the best of waht she has...


I think that she has no real major faults that I can see, but yet she's a transparetnly nice woman, and I like her...
