The Henry and Emma analogy does cross her mind, but I believe that Anne loves Louisa on her own merits, regardless of her connection to Frederick. She's known Louisa for years, and genuinely cares for her. I think she'd offer to stay and nurse her even if Frederick wasn't in the picture. And, we know she's good at nursing. ;-)
