The greatest advantage for me   Written by Amytat (10/13/2011 4:11 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mistakes and Annotations are frequently a matter of opinion, penned by Cathy Allen
Are you new?

in reading the Shapard annotations is that it slows me down and makes me stop and think about things. Otherwise I read these books as if I’m gobbling them up and then I’m disappointed they are over so soon! (I’m sure that would be true with other annotations as well but Shapard is the one I happened across.) It’s also an advantage that it gives me historical information I wouldn’t have known to ask for – but what I love the most is that it makes the book take longer to read.
