will you accept a virtual hug from me? :) I belong to the group of readers who find Anne a bit too good and "perfect" and therefore a bit uninteresting (I don't know why - Eleanor D. is my favourite Austen heroine and Anne and Eleanor are not that very different...) but you and gianni have shed some light on her flaws. I think I'll like Anne a lot better now, so thanks to both of you!:)

P.S. I haven't had the time to read along with you all, but I have been following the discussions and enjoyed them immensely.
