I did not mark them, but one is pg 53, note 25, discussing the 'small limits of society around [the Elliots]': "The only other local clergyman ever cited is Captain Wentworth's brother, later described as married, and his presence provided for the basis of Anne's meeting Captain Wentworth."

But, Mr. Wentworth was not married at the time he knew Anne (ch. 4), and so should not be discounted as an ineligible marriage prospect for that reason.
