They are so delightful. Wouldn't you love to be included in their curcle of friends? Though, it appears that they will always be each other's closest friend - as it should be. Very nice, but clear-eyed people. Having their good opinion - especialy Sophy's - would really mean something. I'm sure Anne can't help but think, as she does when meeting the Harvilles, that they could now be her intimates - her relations - if things had been different. More bittersweetness for Anne.
