...or "breakwater." My wife and I were fortunate enough to have visited Paington and Torquay which is southwest of Lyme Regis on the coast. We found it one of the most picturesque, romantic, and scenic locations we had ever seen. How fitting for Miss Austen to envelope us in sailors and the sea....something so close to the heart of her own family.
