Linked below is a HUGE scan (which is why I'm linking it separately) of a Navy List from 1804, the year before the Battle of Trafalgar, when the British navy was at its peak. There are many, many ships listed and the print is very small. Frank Austen's ship, The Canopus, is on the list, but I can't find it. (The Canopus is also mentioned Mansfield Park: "Whereabouts does the Thrush lay at Spithead? Near the Canopus?" (ch. 38) That inside joke reference must have caused some delight in the Austen family.) Here is a list of Captains from the Navy List:
If you look closely, you can see the entry for Jane's brother Frank. It's in the third column, about 2/3 of the way down. Here's a close-up:
