Maybe it´s spite, because, Anne has a high sense of liability ( or responsibility I´m not sure what is the most suitable word) and she is the “guilty”, who has made joined lady Rusell the budget cut, and Elisabeht, every year went with her father to London, and both remains there spending, Anne´s love the theatre, the concerts, but at the same time, she didn’t like spent, obviously is a mature, sensible and accurate women, and Elisabeth hates that.
