Perhaps she's just solid and serious?   Written by Debra R (10/4/2011 1:58 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, No taste for wit, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

I have known warm, loving people who had no taste for wit--who have no sense of humor themselves, and a tendency to distrust those who do. Perhaps she sees wit as frivolous and unsound.
