similar to the Boston Blue Book   Written by DeborahAnnebelle (10/4/2011 12:21 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Sir Walter writing in the Baronetage, penned by Kevin S.
Are you new?

When I was first married, my mother-in-law penned in my name and the date of our marriage next to her son's name in the Blue Book, a volume that recorded the ancestry, etc. of Boston's 400 (the families that counted in Boston, Massachusetts high society). It was a pricey volume, and I think she was waiting for offspring before she invested in the next edition.

I don't think Sir Walter had enough grasp on his finances to delay for that reason. It is true, however, that from year to year, the Baronetage and the Blue Book vary little.
