Are you new?

I wonder if there was more to Lady Russell's dislike than his lack of fortune, place in society, and general imprudent character. Do you think that perhaps Lady Russell was the object of Frederick's wit?

I'm sorry if we're not supposed to do the "what if" game on the GR board but I could totally imagine Frederick noting Lady R's dislike and being witty at her expense lol.
