I wonder why she married him? Written by Elbè (10/4/2011 2:24 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Respect for Lady Elliot, penned by Frances G

It is difficulf for me to understand how a sensible person (reminiscent of Anne) could fall for Sir Walter. Was it the blindness of youth - a case similar to Mr Bennet?

Perhaps seeing what a hasty marraige brought on for her friend, Lady Russell dissuaded Anne from marrying Captain Wentworth.
