Elizabeth v. Sir Walter Written by Adele W (10/3/2011 1:39 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Elizabeth and Anne, penned by Cheryl

I have been used to consider Elizabeth and Sir Walter in the same light: irritating, self-centered, and mean. But your words "I can bring myself to laugh at Sir Walter, but Elizabeth is vile," bring out a different perspective. Do you believe, then, that Sir Walter neglects Anne because he's an idiot, but that Elizabeth is intentionally neglectful to Anne because she's that mean-spirited?
