My question about the Annotated reference   Written by Jean B (10/3/2011 12:29 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Black ribbons, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

Did the Annotated edition give a reference to how they decided that the "she" was a typo. Though the text can be read either way, it is my feeling that, given the strong dose of Elliot pride Elizabeth has - it is referred to throughout the first chapter that she and her father are 2 peas in a pod,- she would wear the ribbons for the show of it. It is the correct Elliot thing to do.
