I try to take part in GRs whenever I can because I *know* I'll be learning several new things about the novel, even if I've read it many times before! Thanks especially to Julie W. (as always), Rae (you *do* know your early 19th-century British navy, don't you? ;-) and Tarn for your wonderful historical insights, and to Cheryl for The Gazeteer quizzes and the Mad Libs. I think the Mad Libs were the most fun of all the "fun" activities we've done in any of the GRs I've taken part in. I hope they'll show up again sometime!
