Are you new?

But I really do not think that to live at Kellynch would be any part of Anne and Wentworth's future, do you?

Her story is about her freeing herself from that world. Yes, she loved Kellynch, but that love is what brought her as close as she gets to succumbing to Lady Russell over Mr Elliot (ie not very close, but she does at least imagine it). Kellynch safe in the hands of the Crofts is a good ending for her feelings about the estate, isn't it?

I am not sure that Wentworth's fortune would be enough to purchase an estate of their own, but I always imagine them living in a beautiful Regency villa, near Lyme, with the Harvilles, and possibly the Benwicks, nearby. That is Anne's world now and a newly built, elegant home with no ghosts would symbolise it :-)
