Comic malevolence   Written by TimLee (10/31/2008 1:18 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Narcissus, Vanity and Mirrors..., penned by Moni
Are you new?

You raise a good question, Moni. While there is a lot to laugh at with Sir W, he's also quite mean in very unfunny ways. You, Jan and Cathy have pointed out enough examples to make the point. Some buffoons we just laugh at, even if they inadvertantly hurt someone else. Sir W, on the other hand, really raises my hackles. He constantly puts others down in order to raise himself up. He's laughable, but not harmless.

Tim
