Interesting to know that Mary's fears are realistic. I was going to say "Poor Mary - she will never be happy". On second thoughts I'm more inclined to say "Poor Charles!"

I wonder how Anne and Frederick would feel if he were to become "Sir Frederick Wentworth"? I suspect Anne would not care either way about their increased status but would be thrilled on Frederick's behalf. I think he would derive a good deal of satisfaction from having his achievements recognised in this way. I could be wrong though - what do others think?
