It was so revealing...   Written by Moni (10/30/2008 11:06 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Thanks Moni, penned by Robbin
Are you new?

to focus just on Anne, and hard too, I couldn't go off on tangents. I felt more sympathy for Lady Russell too, and found that she was really Anne's only stalwart friend, and she really did have Anne's best interests at heart. I found Anne stronger in a kind of retreating way than I have noticed before. she endures. (In some ways she reminded me of Fanny, loving in spite of years and years of uncertainty, though for different reasons, of course!)

Even when she is at such a low ebb, she seems to have this endless resource inside her to endure. And she really does love him, against all persuasive forces, even at times when it makes no sense. I don't know that many people would be deep enough to understand him, and in this way, she is a good match for him. Thank you Robbin! I learned a lot from this GR! ;-)
