I'm so glad that words didn't fail her! When I think of the years I was satisfied with only watching the movie adapations, I'm quite embarassed at myself. And you can read and reread her novels, and always find new stuff to enjoy.

I happened upon a website called "Male Voices in Praise of Jane Austen." There is a section called "What Some Men Have Said About Jane Austen: from Sir Walter Scott to Sir Winston Churchill," which I've linked, below. One of the statements I was most taken with is that JA is the female equivalent of Shakespeare; and this came from a MAN!

It's most interesting reading; you might enjoy it.
