I think she's altogether reckoned well-looking, but Sir Walter and Elizabeth find many flaws with her, as they do with everyone else.

However, she grows on Sir Walter so much as to make her really "dangerous". Most likely, her constant empoly of her art of pleasing played as great a role in carring away her freckles as the costant use of Gowland. ;oP
