I'm afraid I've got tunnel vision :-) In the LR-CW comparison, I've only looked at them through CW's POV. I never warmed up to LR, and was unable to see it from her perspective except through the pain that she'd inflicted on Anne and CW. I see now where LR is coming from (thanks, Deborah Y)!!! Two different layers of society, perhaps?
