Are you new?

I am very fond of Lady Russell, and I see her as closer to Mrs Gardiner than to Lady C. I think that, on the available evidence and for a woman of her experience of the world, she did the right thing. It is one of my few peeves with P2 that she is made to look more scheming and domineering than I believe she is in the book.
