Two quotes I love about Lady R from Chapter 24   Written by Cathy Allen (10/28/2008 1:50 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Love Lady Russell (long), penned by LeeAnne
Are you new?

"There was nothing less for Lady Russell to do, than to admit that she had been pretty completely wrong, and to take up a new set of opinions and of hopes."

"…found little hardship in attaching herself as a mother to the man who was securing the happiness of her other child."

I agree with you, LeeAnne. How could you not love someone so well-intentioned, so willing to admit being wrong, and so willing to make amends?
