After such a long haul...   Written by Moni (10/28/2008 9:18 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, A heart returning to her, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

nearly eight years without knowing if her heart's longings would be returned, and the months of him being back in her circle, Anne is understandably over the moon inside. I agree.

The most amazing thing is the Bath sections near the end are the only ones she has proper conversations with him!! Talk about being taken along with Anne's private inner longings and hopings, and then no hope, just a shaky kind of friendship from this man she has loved for so long. These conversations must've been like a long drink of water after a seven year plus drought for her!

Such a change in him, through what happened in Lyme. Anne notices. It's interesting, she really does long for him forever, it seems, and when he comes back to her changed, it's such a boon for her! And it's only just conversation at this stage, but she feels the changes in him ;-)).
