Wouldn't it be more polite if they called her Miss Anne... Written by JanELT (10/27/2008 10:07 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I noticed this earlier, penned by CarolTS

...instead of just Anne, as if she was dismissive and insignificant, though I must say they were all praises for Mr Elliot.
