My thoughts   Written by Susan L (10/27/2008 9:52 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ch 23: Too pleasing a blunder? Result of a warm revival?, penned by JanELT
Are you new?

(1) I think this comment has two sides to it: it came from a woman in love because Anne had to believe CW made an earlier comment about her being so changed that she wasn't going to reproach him for forgetting it. And why not in my view, because CW must be in love with her to be so unbiased as to claim that she will never change or age for him.

(2) I love this whole quote but the last part is immeasurably sweet. I love that she values this change in how he feels about her because it flows from his rekindled love for her. It somehow wouldn't be as comforting if her still being as atttractive at 28 as at 19 was the cause of him loving her again.
