Ch 19: Why did these strangers call her Anne and not Miss Elliot?   Written by JanELT (10/27/2008 8:27 p.m.)
Are you new?

I suppose that Elizabeth is Miss Elliot, but isn't Anne a Miss Elliot too?

Ch 19: "She is pretty, I think; Anne Elliot; very pretty when one comes to look at her. It is not the fashion to say so, but I confess I admire her more than her sister." ...... "And so do I. No comparison. But the men are all wild after Miss Elliot. Anne is too delicate for them."
