Benwick   Written by Deborah Y (10/25/2008 8:38 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, I am persuaded by your argument., penned by Rachel G
Are you new?

Do you think Benwick was, in fact, planning to visit Anne -- in other words, that Charles was right to perceive some romantic possibilities there -- but was sidetracked by his growing interest in Louisa? The other possibility is that Mary is right to accuse Charles of exaggerating Benwick's interest in Anne.
