married to an agreeable, well mannered man of rank and fortune, and living in her ancestral home. Lady R does not at all seem like a romantic person, so I don't see her as wishing something unpleasant on Anne at all. It's just that Anne and Lady R have different ideas of what would make a desireable marriage. At least Lady R stopped with suggesting the advantages of the marriage and not pressuring Anne into it against her inclination. It is for this reason that I don't see any blackmail, because she doesn't suggest that she will love Anne any less if Anne doesn't take her advice. She respected Anne's feelings much more in this situation, than she did in the year 06.
