Sunday traveling...   Written by Leslie VZ (10/23/2008 12:54 a.m.)
Are you new?

There is a line at the end of Ch. 17 that I have a question about. Anne is reflecting on the character of Mr. Elliott, and we have: "She saw that there had been bad habits: that Sunday travelling had been a common thing.." Was traveling on Sunday specifically a no-no? Or is this a euphemism for something else?
