I Think He is Running for the Hills   Written by Tessa (10/22/2008 12:16 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Choice, penned by Robbin
Are you new?

I am of the opinion that Frederick does not want to be put in a position that he has to have a conversation with Ann. He is trying to avoid being stuck in an awkward position.

He spots her at the edge of the group he is talking to and says essentially, "Whoops, I'm out of here!"

I'm not saying it shows him at his best, but I don't think he's trying to be deliberately cruel, in fact, he's trying to be very formal and polite, "I beg your pardon, madam, this is your seat."

He's avoiding her.
