I agree Frederick is basking in the glow of the Miss Musgroves and their cousin’s attentions yet also manages to think of Anne a little. My basic dislike of Frederick’s insistence Anne sit at the pianoforte is that it was unnecessary. I say he does not deserve her at this moment not because he thinks of other women more than Anne but because it seems he chooses coldness and formality at that moment. It is not the result of embarrassment or surprise but choice. (;D)
