What a candid man!   Written by Anna Ruby (10/21/2008 9:05 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, The Crofts at Kellynch Hall, penned by MarianneR
Are you new?

I love it when Admiral Croft fearing he might not have been civil enough prays Anne to send word to Sir Walter that they are quite happy with Kellynch-hall: "take it altogether, now that we have been into most of the houses hereabouts and can judge, there is not one that we like better than this. Pray say so, with my compliments. He will be glad to hear it---how far the Admiral is from suspecting that Sir Walter considers it the highest honour for them to be renting Kellynch, let alone him having not the smallest idea of their possibly finding any fault with it!

Just picture to yourself Sir Walter's face at hearing this speech... ;o)

How I love the Crofts!
