You're right, Rose Written by Line (10/21/2008 8:43 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, LR and CM, penned by Rose G

In ch.10, Louisa tells CW that her parents believe LR persuaded Anne to turn Charles down, but in ch.4, the Omniscient Narrator tells us that at the time, LR was in fact very much in favour of the match!
