that they wouldn't have anyone to dine with. I meant they originally didn't have any family to hang out with in the afternoons, etc in between evening engagments, like they later did with the Dalrymples and Mr. Elliot. We can't expect Elizabeth to sit in her parlor doing needlework all day, can we?
