who doesn't, as well. Anne never does it, she always makes an effort to be diplomatic and mild, wherever she can. Louisa and Henrietta and Mary do.

I don't know who else does for the moment, but this post also put me in mind of perhaps a little of the feelings against the Elliot pride, and that the Musgrove's really feel justified in even telling Anne how they felt about her possibly marrying Charles when she arrived at Uppercross or thereabouts, that they would rather have had her than Mary!

The Musgrove girls seem very confident in themselves, and feel they have some claim to their own opinion being right, in giving gossip out, so to speak! There seems a kind of "friendly" rivalry among them all. Hope this makes sense!
