I didn't think about it at the time because the movie dialogue is not consistently formal. But it really stood out when I read the book (the first of at least ten times!). I saw that Frederick is not thinking rationally -- he's going strictly on emotion, and it must mean something if he still thinks of her as "Anne" rather than "Miss Anne" or "Miss Elliot."
