He seems to be betraying his feelings at this point. I think it's even more evident given the immediately preceding formal use of "Mrs. Harville" and the seemingly even more formal "Mrs. Charles Musgrove" (the older Mrs. Musgrove wasn't even there, so there was no need for that formal specificity).
