I hope my post didn't imply that.

My comment on the large fat woman grieveing over a replusive son on rereading doesn't come off quite like I wanted it too - Miss Austin's description of Dick is very harsh, and she refers to Mrs Musgrove's bulk, but I see this passage as a reminder (not quite the right word) to us to remember her (Mrs Musgrove's) grief is as real as anyone's and Wentworth's refaction is kind and consoling.
