Not Kind   Written by Patricia P (10/15/2008 4:26 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Unbecoming conjunctions, penned by Rachel G
Are you new?

When I first read this I just took it as it came in the story-without thinking about real people in a real situation. We know from Jane's own letters that she had a sometimes sarcastic eye plus she herself was a slender person. Jane wrote true to life and perhaps her intention was to round out the character of Mrs Musgrove or perhaps it was just an apt thought that she put in to fill out the chapter..how ever unkind.
