Taking privateers Written by MarianneR (10/15/2008 3:50 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, L&T: Wentworth the 'Star Captain', penned by Rae

You mention that disrupting coastal trade and privateers was one of the tasks of frigates. CW also mentioned taking privateers enough to be very entertaining in ch.8. In my German translation it said they captured trade-ships. Can you tell me the difference? And am I right in persuming that those captured ships belonged to the enemy i.e. the French?
