The Musgrove Girls and CW   Written by Patricia P (10/14/2008 1:16 p.m.)
Are you new?

I could not figure out how to add my thoughts in the discussions earlier of the Flaws in our beloved Captain's character. I think his treatment of the Musgrove girls ought to be commented on. In a time when his flirting with them could serioulsy injure their marital futures he was using them as foils for his anger and resentment toward Anne. The fact that he doesn't do it intentionally is for me beside the point. He didn't bother to learn anything about them-any one (except Mary) would have told him Henrietta was practically engaged and to single out Louisa when he meant nothing by it was not nice.
