Not to be 'forward'   Written by Rae (10/14/2008 5:20 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ermmm...., penned by JulieW
Are you new?

I am not suggesting she be forward, but she does not even fully meet his eye on their first meeting. Now we know that is because of how she is feeling, but he may not know whether to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume this, or to assume that she is being cold towards him. We are ready to see that she is reading him - but maybe he is trying to read her as well, he is following what he sees as clues from her about how they are to behave?

So far, she has ducked out completely from one meeting...and he has initiated a quick first meeting with as little possibility for embarrassment as possible, and during it she barely looks at him. From his point of view which of them is suggesting they want to be on good terms?
