November of life   Written by Anna Ruby (10/13/2008 10:52 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Autumnal Persuasion, Week 2, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

Another Autumn-related passage that makes me sad for Anne is when Capt. Wentworth tells Louisa (after the nut speech) "If Louisa Musgrove would be beautiful and happy in her November of life, she will cherish all her present powers of mind" with obvious (and unjust!!) references to (Loiusa's) firmness of mind VS (Anne's) fickleness.
